This is the 21st Annual CADA Awards Luncheon where we recognize individuals and organizations in the community who have made a significant contribution to substance abuse prevention and treatment. Nominations for the awards are accepted from January until April and are then selected by CADA staff with the involvement of practitioners in the substance abuse fields. The most prestigious award, the Bronze Key, is sponsored by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) and selected by the CADA Board of Directors. Each year, the luncheon is attended by nearly 200 healthcare professionals, community leaders, public officials, and many other partners. It is CADA’s signature annual fundraiser and has proved to support several successful prevention activities that reach thousands of adolescents each year.

In addition to the presentation of the awards, attendees hear remarks by the CADA Executive Director, the CADA Board President, and a keynote address. The keynote traditionally focuses on the importance of substance abuse prevention and acknowledges the excellent work done by CADA and the organizations represented by the award recipients.
