Serving Scouting in Southeast Louisiana Parishes of Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaqueumines, Terrebonne, St. John, St. James, St. Charles, St. Tammany, and St. Bernard.

Our Scout camp, Salmen Scout Reservation is located in Hancock County, MS and is the location for most of our camping-related scouting activtities and is open to family camping. We have a jr. olympic swimming pool, a climbing tower, a lake for canoes and sailboats, a large dining hall, a health lodge, multiple shelters, bathhouses, a pirate ship, castle, and an abundance of campsites.

Outside groups such as church groups, youth organizations, and school groups are welcome to reserve camp for use as long as you can provide liability insurance. Use of specific areas have fees and requirements associated with them. Please contact us at sela@bsamail.org if you are interested.
