Nestled in the heart of the French Quarter, Succotash Nola is where classic Southern flavors meet modern culinary creativity. This casual fine-dining gem offers a fresh take on the city’s rich food culture, blending deep-rooted traditions with a refined touch.
“I like to say we take comfort food and elevate it just a touch, give it a little polish without losing the soul and personality of the dish… and me!” says Executive Chef K, a classically trained chef with 12 years in the industry and a lifetime of cooking experience. “I want people to taste the history in every bite but also be surprised by something new.”
Signature dishes include our namesake Succotash a vibrant mix of local corn, lima beans, and smoky andouille sausage paying homage to Southern roots and our elevated Shrimp and Grits, featuring perfectly seared Gulf shrimp over creamy stone-ground grits in a savory Creole sauce. For an irresistible start, try the Butter Poached Lobster Arancini: crispy purple rice risotto balls filled with melty cheese, paired with a poached lobster tail topped with caviar.
While we’re still experimenting and rotating dishes seasonally, each plate promises something memorable. Pair these standout dishes with handcrafted cocktails, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a night to remember. Whether local or visiting, Succotash Nola is a must for a true taste of New Orleans with a modern twist.
