Val has worked with numerous household-name companies, such as Sesame Street, Habitat for Humanity, Microsoft, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Best Buy, Children's Place, Pfizer, and Siemens. She is the principal of Val Grubb & Associates Ltd., a WBEC-certified woman-owned business that she founded after holding a succession of senior leadership roles within major corporations, including NBC Universal, Oxygen Media, InterActiveCorp (IAC), and Rolls-Royce.
Certified as a Marshall Goldsmith Executive Coaching Stakeholder-Centered Coach, Val has experience working in a variety of industries (both for-profit as well as nonprofit). She is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and was recently selected to the EO New Orleans Accelerator Program, an Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) initiative designed to help business owners drive their growth to $1 million (and beyond) in annual sales. Val also currently serves as president of the board of directors for the New Orleans Film Society and is on the board of the Women’s Guild of the New Orleans Opera Association.
