The show officially opens Friday, September 22nd and runs through Saturday, September 23rd at 7:30pm, with a matinee Sunday, September 24th at 2:00pm. The next week it continues Thursday, September 28th at 7:30 through Saturday, September 30th and closes Sunday, October 1st 2:00pm.

Description
Theatre UNO presents Dead Name, an original play by Kylie Vanni, a member of the Creative Writing Workshop, at the University of New Orleans. In this haunting tale, Lily wakes to find herself in the afterlife, unclear about how she got there, but knowing for sure the name "Alex" on her ticket does not match who she is. Ma'am, head of the underworld, starts working to discover how this "clerical error" could have occurred while Lily is haunted by visions of her father. Alongside her travels, she meets Asher, a low-level demon companion and a host of hell's denizens and must decide if returning to the physical world is really what she wants at all.
