Bull and Bear: TU Fashion Show 2025 Explores Power, Wealth, and Risk

Annual Show Returns April 27th as One of Tulane University’s Most Anticipated Events
New Orleans, LA – TU Fashion, one of Tulane University’s leading student organizations, is set
to return with its annual fashion show at 7pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in the Lavin-Bernick
Center. Recognized as one of the most highly anticipated events on campus, the TU Fashion
Show blends creativity, academic exploration, and industry insight to produce a
thought-provoking spectacle. Each year, the show is centered around an academic theme, with
past years exploring the forces of nature and human anatomy. This year’s theme, “Bull and
Bear,” takes inspiration from the business world, corporate structures, and the financial markets,
delving into the cycles of ambition, risk, and reward.
The “Bull and Bear” theme is a reflection of the power struggles and volatility of success,
mirroring the ebbs and flows of not just finance, but the broader corporate and fashion worlds.
The show will explore the dual nature of prosperity and downfall, and also touch on deeper
themes, including capitalist pressures, the glamorization of wealth, and the cost of ambition,
making it a timely and thought-provoking event.
Beyond its artistic and conceptual scope, the organization is committed to making an impact
beyond the runway. This year, TU Fashion is proud to announce its exclusive charity partner,
Runway of Dreams—a nonprofit dedicated to promoting adaptive fashion and inclusive design
in the industry. Additionally, the show continues to expand its network of supporters, with a
continuously growing board of sponsors, including Poppi, Kendra Scott, and more.
The show promises to be a visually striking and intellectually engaging event, bringing together
students, industry professionals, and the local Tulane community for an evening that celebrates
both creativity and critical discourse.
